If you have clicked on an email verification link during the Klei Account creation process, or when merging Klei Accounts, and you encounter these error messages:
"session has expired, you have to log in once again"
“Invalid verification code”
This error message is encountered due to three reasons generally:
- If the user is trying to click on the email verification link while not logged into the Klei Account on the same web browser;
- OR if the user is logged in with a different Klei Account while trying to click on the email verification link.
- OR if the email verification link has expired. (Email verification links are only valid for 24 hours)
The email verification process currently requires that the Klei User ID in the verification link matches your currently logged in Klei User ID, on the Klei Accounts website.
To resolve this issue:
- Open your web browser and use the Incognito Mode or Private Mode (web browser specific);
- Visit https://accounts.klei.com/ and log in to your Klei account using your platform login credentials;
- On the main account page, under your email, click the "VERIFY EMAIL" button (shown in the image below) to receive a new verification link;
- On a different tab in the same web browser, go to your email inbox, and click the latest verification link that you received from Klei.
- Your email should be verified!
