When you purchase Don't Starve, Reign of Giants, and Shipwrecked from Steam, the game is added into your games library.
Until fairly recently, Steam provided a CD key for Don't Starve, Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked that players could enter into Humble Bundle to retrieve your DRM-free installers. Steam is getting rid of this system - so we have created the Don’t Starve DRM-free tool that you can now use to get your installers.
To Download, Install, and Play on Don't Starve DRM-free game client:
- Visit https://drm-free.klei.com/ and click on the “Sign in through Steam” button to start the tool sign in process.
- This will open up the Steam community page with your Steam Account asking you to complete the sign-in process. Click on the Sign In button to authorize the tool to your Steam account.
- Download your Don’t Starve, Reign of Giants, or Shipwrecked installers (if owned on Steam) and retrieve your game key for use on the Klei Updater.
