If you are playing Don't Starve: Pocket Edition on Android, and find that the game is indicating that you have a Bluetooth gamepad/controller connected (even if you do not), OR if you just need to disable controller support for the game, follow these steps:
BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE: Update 1.19.3 for the game includes an new option in the game's SETTINGS screen that allow players to toggle controller input to be enabled or disabled. If you have not done so yet, please download and install the latest update for your game from Google Play Store: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/113412
To Disable Bluetooth controllers/gamepads for Don't Starve: Pocket Edition -
1) Go to your game's settings screen and change your CONTROLLER setting to "Disabled" and then choose APPLY to confirm the change. This will disable controller support for the game and allow for the use of touch controls.
2) Depending on the type of touch controls you would like to play with, you can either set VIRTUAL STICK to "Enabled" in the Settings screen for virtual stick controls, or set VIRTUAL STICK to "Disabled" for traditional, touch controls. Choose APPLY to confirm the change.
