IMPORTANT NOTES - PLEASE READ BEFORE LINKING ACCOUNTS
Similar to other platforms, when playing Don't Starve Together: Pocket Edition for the first time on mobile, a required, new mobile/Klei Account is automatically created for you so that you can play on your mobile device.
With your new Klei Account for mobile, you have the ability to link your other, existing Klei Accounts to your mobile/Klei Account for access to shared unlocks. These entitlements will not be transferred to linked accounts but rather you will be given a read-only copy which cannot be turned into Spool or otherwise modified.
Additionally, all currencies (Bolts of Cloth, Klei Points, and Spools) will not be shared or transferred to linked accounts, and will stay in their original account.
You will be able to reverse the linking procedure if you make a mistake, but to avoid abuse you must wait 30 days before trying again.
This tutorial assumes you have an existing Klei Account already, and the example used is shown with a Steam account. However, the given steps also apply with other platforms.
1) On the game's main menu, click on the account icon;
2) NOTE: Step 2 only applies for brand new players of DST: Pocket Edition, who have started playing within the last 24 hours, and have never registered for a Klei Account previously.
- If you already have an existing Klei Account (Steam, console) that you want to link to your Klei/Mobile Account, click on "LINK EXISTING ACCOUNT".
- If you have never played Don’t Starve Together, click on "SIGN UP FOR NEW ACCOUNT" ;
3) Click on "SETTINGS" in the dropdown menu;
4) In the SETTINGS page, scroll down, click on "LINK OR UNLINK AN ACCOUNT";
5) Link your Steam account (or the platform account you want to link to your mobile/Klei Account)
6) Click on "CONTINUE". It will open a webview/web browser.
NOTE: If you have the Steam app installed on your phone, you might have to delete it before doing this step, because your phone will open the app instead of the webview, and you will not be able to link your account.
7) On the webview/web browser, the platform you would like to link to will ask for your login information, log in using your account credentials for that platform, if you were not logged in previously.
Once logged in, you may encounter another screen such as the one below where you will need to continue linking with the platform you want. For this Steam example, click on the "LINK ACCOUNT" button to continue;
8) If there are no errors, and when ready to continue linking your accounts, read through the Consent information, scroll down and type "LINK ACCOUNTS", in uppercase, press enter on-screen keyboard. Then click on "LINK ACCOUNTS" to complete the process.
Please note that you need to use the same email address for your mobile/Klei Account and your Steam/Console Klei Account. Your email also must be verified for your Klei account here.

9) Your Steam/Klei account is linked to your mobile/Klei account, you can now access your shared unlocks!
