Klei Forum account can be created by directly or created by logging in through either a Google account or Steam login; however, Klei Forum accounts are separate from Klei Accounts and have no data association with your Klei Account in any way.
Occasionally, players may find that they want to remove the Steam account from the forums, either because they used the wrong account or for other reasons.
To do so all you need is to make sure the forum has another way for you to log in.
You can do this by following the steps below:
Go to your forum account Settings.

Click "Configure" for the account platform you are currently using.

If you see the "Sign Out" option, simply click there, and your account association for your platform account will be removed. If you do not, you will need to create a forum password first.

Once you add and confirm your password, you can click the "Sign Out" button as described above.
