If you are having trouble accessing your in-game inventory/items or if you are encountering an "Item Collection Download Failed" error, this likely means that your system is having trouble connecting to our item servers. Please follow the steps in our troubleshooting guide for account/server connection issues for Don’t Starve Together.

If all troubleshooting steps and links above have been tried, and you are still encountering networking issues, please try these additional steps:
- If you are trying to connect to our servers via Wi-Fi, please try connecting via Ethernet/wired cables as this is a more stable connection compared to wireless.
- You may also want to try resetting your router and/or modem, and ensure that both router/modem's firmware or drivers have been updated to the latest version. You will be able to find the firmware updates on the router manufacturer's website.
- Ensure that your internet service provider is not having any issues with their service in your area. You can also contact your ISP for technical assistance with connection issues if you are still encountering connection issues with various games, servers, and services.
- If you are trying to play the game using a VPN, you may want to try temporarily turning off the VPN to see if that is causing an issue with networking or connections to our item servers.
